Anne - Move over Murray
British No 1 Anne Keothavong is happy to be sharing the media spotlight with Andy Murray for once as she prepares to take on Elena Dementieva in New York.
The 24-year-old faces the Russian in the third round after claiming the scalp of 25th seed Francesca Schiavone.
She said: "There are women who are doing good things in British tennis, and it's nice to know that it's just not Andy Murray out there."
Keothavong stuns Italian
Anne Keothavong caused a major shock at Flushing Meadows as she knocked out Italian 25th seed Francesca Schiavone to reach the third round in New York.
The British No 1 broke twice as she won the first set 6-2, but the Italian levelled by taking the second 6-3.
The Hackney player recovered from 4-2 down in the decider, and secured a 6-2 3-6 6-4 victory when Schiavone double-faulted into the net.
Jamie earns doubles win
Jamie Murray and Liezel Huber cruised into the second round of the mixed doubles after seeing off Kateryna Bondarenko and Andre Sa in New York.
Murray and his American partner Huber, who reached the semi-finals at Flushing Meadows last year, secured a 6-3 6-2 win in their opening match.
Murray is in action with Max Mirnyi in the men's doubles on Thursday against Michal Mertinak and Lovro Zovko.
Murray - I'm more relaxed
Andy Murray believes his more relaxed approach is starting to pay dividends at the bigger tournaments.
The Scot, who faces Michael Llodra in New York on Thursday, reached the first Grand Slam quarter-final of his career at Wimbledon this summer.
He said: "In the past I felt nervous but now I've started to work really hard off the court, you go into the matches with no excuses, no worries."
